Community Involvement

The staff members of My Technology Pros don’t just talk about excellent service, they try to exemplify the idea of service to others even in their extra-curricular activities.

Patrick Junkroski is chairman of the Ricky King Foundation, a Naples, Florida based non-profit that provides a conduit of community support from individuals, corporations and organizations for the unmet medical needs of children and youth in Collier, Lee, and Charlotte Counties. The Fund provides financial support and information resources for medical needs, and strives to maintain the dignity of every individual. Learn more (and donate, please!) at www.rickykingfund.org.

Michael Junkroski is on the board of directors for Global Help Foundation, a Naples based non-profit providing technology, education and animal welfare services to Central America and the United States. In the few short years since its inception, GHF has sponsored science fairs in Nicaragua and become a Central American representative for WSPA. Michael is also active in First Christian Church of Naples, whose outreach programs support St. Matthew’s house and the Coalition of Immokalee Farmworkers.

Jim Gunderson serves as Commodore for the Gulf Coast Sailing Club of Naples. The club is dedicated to the development of skills and appreciation for the sport of sailing. The active support of area regattas and Southwest Florida junior sailing programs are the major areas of involvement for the club and its membership.
